“Volga” lost in a match against “Fakel” in Russian Cup

“Volga” Nizhny Novgorod Football Club has lost in a match against “Fakel” in 1/32 final of Russian Cup. The final score was 2:0. The match has taken place in Voronezh.

Turkin scored on 14th minute and Biryukov doubles score on 54th minute of the game in the second half.
Nizhny Novgorod players are not able to fulfill their moments. Kozlov, Uridiya and Kuharchuk had several great opportunities while Petrov hit the poster on the 81th minute in the end of the game.

This means that “Fakel” will play in 1/16 final of Russian Cup.

The Head Coach of “Volga” Andrey Talalayev spoke about reasons of his defeat after the match. He said that his players make the same mistakes every match. At the same time he paid attention to the fact that his footballers suffer from lack of quality and experience while creating their attacks.

“Volga” will play its next match against “Yenisei” on the 7th of April in National Football League.
