Test heating was launched in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia
Test heating has been launched in Nizhny Novgorod starting from Monday 15th of September. This order has already been signed by the Head of City Administration Oleg Kondrashev. It means that all boiler rooms of the city will start operating during this testing period.

This testing launch of heating is the last step in preparation to a new heating season. It is necessary to examine conditions and operation of boiler rooms along with heating networks. It will help to determine and prevent possible malfunctions and break downs.

Deputy Head of Engineering Infrastructure Department Mikhail Igumnov said scheme of heating in Nizhny Novgorod has been changed. At first the whole system was switched off in order to get rid of all water. However, now the heating system will remain full in order to improve the speed of heat provision.

Deputy technical director in operation and production of “Teploenergo” Ltd Alexander Matveev said that all 128 boiler rooms are absolutely ready for the new heating season. At the same time technological process of launching heating goes as per schedule without any delays.

Testing period will be based in circulation of heating under a specific temperature and pressure. This will not cause any temperature increase in the room in accordance with all necessary standards and requirements.

It should also be mentioned that heating season usually starts when the temperature outside is below 8 degrees within 5 days in a row. Citizens will have their houses heated on the 6th day. Kindergartens, schools and medical care establishments are of major priority when it comes to heating.
