Snow disposal landfill will be built in Nizhny Novgorod. The object will be located near the WWTP station. The necessity of this construction is extremely high due to the fact that here are two collectors of sewage. This information was provided by the Director of Road Facilities Department Andrey Zhizhin. He said that firstly local authorities need to work out the most appropriate tariff on snow disposal before starting construction of the landfill. At the same time survey and research works are also necessary as well as preparing all necessary documentation. However the main aim is to find investors. Zhizhin also noted that such stations should be installed in every district of the city. Unfortunately there are not enough funds at the moment. This is due to the fact that city budget is a bit limited. That is why it is impossible to speak about several snow disposal stations at the moment. At least one landfill will be built in the nearest future. It will make it easier to dispose of huge amount of snow especially in the district where two sewage collectors are located. The Director of Road Facility Department also noted that the cost of the future construction is still unclear. It will be determined while preparing all necessary documents. At the same time the cost of the station usage will also be determined. | |
