Russia: Provide refugee with shelter and get your financial support

Members of President Council of Human Rights decided to provide Russian citizens with financial support in case they are ready to accept refugees from Ukraine. Those families that will prove the fact of providing shelter to 3 or more refugees from Donetsk and Lugansk regions will get additional 9 thousand rubles.

The officials also discussed opportunities of automatic system of providing refugees with permission for residence and work.

All these ideas are included in the set of offers which are connected with settlement of refugees from Ukraine. They have already been discussed on a special meeting which has taken place on the 14th of August. They were also forwarded to the President in the form of report.

Members of President Council of Human Rights are sure that necessary funds can be taken from the regional budgets which were formed for providing refugees with necessary support.

The number of refugees from Ukraine has increased over the last few months. According to the latest statistics more than 370 thousand Ukrainians are now on the territory of Russian Federation.
