Russia: Blocks of flats will be built following “Housing for Russian family” program

Application for providing an area in Sormovsky district for construction of blocks of flats has been approved during meeting of Investment Committee in Nizhny Novgorod region. These houses will be built in accordance with “Housing for Russian family” program.

The Head of the Council Oleg Sorokin said that local authorities are well-aware of the fact that there is a lack of housing in the region. That is why such decision has been made. New neighborhood will be built in the nearest future. He also noted the all construction works must be started as soon as possible.

According to NewsRoom24.ru 17-hectare territory was provided for construction works on Korablestroiteley prospect.
At the same time City Administration of Nizhny Novgorod and Department of urban development of the area ordered to exclude are which has already been posed on cadastral registration for the construction of the orphanage.

Building of new neighborhood will start in the 3rd quarter of 2015 in Soromovsky district.
