Russia: A company in Nizhny Novgorod can be fined for gas meters advertising
Department of Federal Antimonopoly Service in Nizhny Novgorod region has determined the fact of inadequate advertising campaign that has been implemented by “Capital Service” enterprise. This information is provided by the official website of Antimonopoly Service Department.

The scandal took place after a woman turned with complaint about the fact that she is being permanently called by representatives of the company who offer using their services in rather intrusive way. She has never provided agreement on such kind of advertisement.

The officials have already determined that “House Hold” Ltd was in charge of this advertising campaign. At the same time it was also determined that this company violated law about advertising. If the fine is charged, its representatives will have to pay from 100 to 500 thousand rubles.

At the same time specialists f federal Antimonopoly Service Department remind that all citizens should install gas meters by the 1st of January 2015. On the other had they have a right to choose any company for installation of necessary equipment they want. Any kind of advertising pressure is unacceptable.
