Celebration of the first issue of “Nizhny Novgorod” magazine has taken place on the 5th of October. The event was arranged in Korolenko Central Regional Library. The information is provided by the City Administration media office. “Nizhny Novgorod” magazine was issued for a short period of time after perestroika was completed. Former Minister of Culture Vladimir Sedov was the editor-in-chief. Now the magazine has got a chance for its new rebirth with the help of writer and ethnographer Oleg Ryabov. "Nizhny Novgorod” magazine is once again available for its readers. It belongs to literary and artistic publications. Readers will be able to learn more about different Russian regions as well as the biggest cities of the country which include Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk. At the same time foreign countries including Ukraine, Canada and the United States will also be described in publications. Celebration of this event included performances of different authors. At the same time guests were able to discuss different questions which are connected with further development of the magazine. Editor-in-chief Oleg Ryabov said that everyone will be able to take part in editing and issuing process. Young and experienced authors have a chance to send their manuscripts via e-mail. “We will accept all works that have never been published before. Authors may feel free to send us their poems, novels, short stories, essays, literature and cultural articles, reviews and other materials that will be interesting for our readers. All of them should be related to Russia and different regions of our country. Young authors with great potential will also be attracted to this proves”, - said Ryabov. |
