New students’ motivation system will be implemented in 2015

Those commercial students who show good results during their study will get a chance to study for free in 2015. This information was provided by “Izvestiya” newspaper.

According to existing rules commercial students will be able to study o free only in case they do not have any academic debts, they have paid for their study and passed all examinations with excellent marks. This is the only way to study on the budget basics at the moment. However Ministry of Education in Russian federation has worked out new motivation system and will make changes in existing order.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education say that students not only with excellent marks will get an opportunity to study for free, but also those who have good marks. This will make it possible to create a motivation mechanism which will stimulate students to study well instead of satisfactory.

Special expert committee will be created in order to decide whether such system is necessary. This committee will consist of teachers and management of educational institutions.
