Mass check of taxi drivers is finished in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Mass check of taxi drivers has recently taken place in the capitol of Volga Region. Representatives of Russian Traffic Police Department in Nizhny Novgorod have checked more than 70 taxi drivers. 25 of them have been brought to administrative responsibility for illegal entrepreneurship in transportation field. This information was provided by Traffic Police media office.

This sudden check has taken place on the whole territory of Nizhny Novgorod within 2 days. The results were rather frustrating. Those drivers who were trying to provide transportation services without permission and necessary documents have been fined and brought to administrative responsibility. In case they are caught for the second time with such violations, the consequences may be much worse for them. They can even be left without their driving licenses.

It should be noted that Russian jurisdiction does not allow operating as entrepreneur without necessary permission and license. Every taxi driver should be registered as entity.

Such checks will be held rather often all over the region.
