“Jazz Voices” Festival will take place in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

“Jazz Voices” Festival will take place in Nizhny Novgorod. It will be arranged in “Record” Cinema Center on Saturday, 25th of October. Local Jazz Philharmonic is the main organizer and initiator of the event. Ministry of Culture in Nizhny Novgorod region will also provide it with all necessary support.

All citizens and guest will have a chance to see performances of such popular bands as “Jazz Band”, AlexBand+» and Natalie Ciao Tutti and many others. Ann Lushkina and Vyacheslav Zolotovsky trio will also sing for all guests of the event. Svetlana Kukina has officially been announced as the host of the festival.

The vent will start at 5 p.m.

Jazz – is a type of music which originated from the USA at the end of 19th at the beginning of 20th century. Later it became very popular all over the world. Jazz music combines elements from African and European cultures and traditions. The main features of this music include improvisation, unique rhythm that is based on syncopated figures along with unique set of methods of performing rhythmic textures that are also known as swings.
