Investments in innovative projects of the Nizhniy Novgorod region, Russia amounted to 2.7 billion roubles for 2013
Last year 2.7 billion rubles were invested in major innovative projects. It was announced by Vladimir Nefedov, acting Minister of industry and innovations of Nizhniy Novgorod region, Russia during the meeting of the Commission for economy, industry and entrepreneurship support.

During the previous year there were 8 agreements about state support of enterprises that put innovation projects into practice. Two agreements were signed with the limited company  "Hydromash", one agreement with closed company  "Continent of Elektrotehservis" and with enterprises of the region - the limited company  "Korund-Cyan", public company “Ruspolymet”, the limited company  "NIP", Sverdlov Factory and public company “ANPP "TEMP-AVIA".

Six projects have received support from region to the amount of 45.8 million rubles. For total budget of the region the effect of the implementation of the projects was amounted to 54.6 million rubles. The total investment for 2013 was amounted to 2.7 billion rubles, mentioned V. Nefedov.

According to National Association of innovations and information technologies development Nizhniy Novgorod region, Russia took the 5th place for the innovation activity during the year 2013.
