Inflation will not be higher than 6.5% by the end of 2014
Alexey Ulyukaen is sure that inflation threshold in the amount of 6-6.5% is rather high. At the same time the fact that this level is decreasing will be a good sign for all economic agents taking into account that Russian economy is rather inertial at the moment. In comparison inflation threshold was in the amount of 6.5% in 2013. This situation was discussed between minister and president of Russian Federation during their meeting.

According to head of the Ministry of Economic Development Russian economy has already reached downward trend in inflation. He is certain about the fact that we should be prepared for positive markers in July in spite of price increase for housing and communal services.

In addition Ulyukaev said that growth of GDP increased up to 1.2% in comparison with 0/9% in the first quarter of 2014. GDP growth was up to 1.1% according to initial estimate in the first quarter of 2014. He also mentioned that industry growth will also be increased up to 2.5% in the second quarter in comparison with 1.1% in the first quarter of 2014.
