Ice Arena will be built in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Construction project of Ice Arena in Nizhny Novgorod has been discussed for a long time. New building will be located on Komsomolskaya square and will have its own infrastructure.

It has been already announced several times about the start of ice Arena construction. However building works have been delayed to due lack of financing. Creators of the project ensure that French financial companies were considered to be the main investors of the project. However they seem to refuse from investing funds. That is why it is planned to attract Korean investors. Future cooperation is negotiated at the moment.

Additional information about future project has also appeared. In accordance with this information future Ice Arena including sports grounds that will be located on its territory will be built on borders of Priorskaya and Oktyabrskaya Street as well as Komsomolskaya square and Oka River. The project includes sports, entertaining and educational complexes, 5-star hotel, trading center, theme park, conference hall and additional attractions.

The date when this project will be launched is still unknown. However we can say for sure that ice Arena will certainly be built in Nizhny Novgorod.
