Firework festival will take place on the 13th of September. It will be held in order to commemorate 300th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod province. That is why a competition has been launched of the official website of government purchases. This competition will make it possible to choose a contractor that will deal with arranging and holding the event. Several locations have been chosen for the festival. They include Lenin square, Sovetskaya Street and waters of Oka opposite the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. Several different performances and events will take place on these locations. Citizens will be able to visit concerts, professional classes and even take part in a marathon. At the same time fly-surfing team will show their outstanding performance along with firework show. The starting price of the contract is 1 million rubles at the moment. Regional budget will be used as the main financial source for the upcoming event. Charitable organizations are also ready to provide necessary financial support. Online auction will take place on the 29th of August. The time of the auction start is still unknown.
