Cultural objects of Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia will be privately owned
12 objects of cultural or historical heritage of 25 objects belonging to the Nizhniy Novgorod region Russia are in the plan of privatization of national property. Information about it was received from Alexander Makarov, acting Minister of national property and land resources of Nizhniy Novgorod region, Russia. The privatization plan was discussed on July 23th, 2014 at the session of the government of the region.

According to experts’ opinion, the total cost of the object is 70 million roubles, writes the city portal Nizhniy Novgorod. However, there is a trend in recent years to lower income from privatization of property. Moreover, the number of objects of state property, which could be turned over for privatization, is being reduced.

The solution to this issue that was found at the meeting was the opportunity of selling land resources, as Alexander Makarov outlined. He also said that as a result of the establishment of changes in the Federal legislation, prognostic privatization plan will be adjusted. Now it will be formed for three years.
