Chinese companies sue Amazon to get their account unlocked
A group of Chinese companies are suing Amazon for having been removed from the Amazon Web Store by the company. The companies would have paid customers for reviews, writes The Verge.

The sellers offered customers a voucher for the web store after they had written a positive review. This goes against the platform's rules, which state that sellers are not allowed to pay customers for reviews.

The companies do not deny that they have broken the rules, but say that Amazon is money they are entitled to. It would amount to more than 100,000 euros, which the companies have earned from the sale of goods.

The companies state in a statement that Amazon could have known that the companies were offering vouchers. The company should therefore not withhold money now, they think.
