China Alerts its Citizens of Dangers in United States
As trade tensions escalate between the US and China, Chinese embassy in Washington issued a latest travel alert for its citizens visiting America.

The security advisory regarding potential risks abroad warns about the costly medical services in the US, the risk of becoming a victim of robberies or public shooting. Aside from this, Chinese diplomats routinely drew attention to the danger of natural disasters.
"Public security in the United States is not good. Cases of shootings, robberies and theft are frequent," Reuters quoted the document.
China’s Foreign Ministry said that this kind of reminder is totally in the scope of their duty.

Earlier this month, the US State Department evacuated eleven employees of its diplomatic missions from China because of complaints about "abnormal sounds and sensations."

In May, the State Department said that an American diplomat in Ganzhou probably suffered from an "acoustic attack".

This occurs against the backdrop of a flaring up trade war between the two countries. In June, President Trump announced the introduction of a 25% tariffs on goods from China, the total value of which is estimated at $ 50 billion.

Trump said tariffs were an answer to "dishonest trading methods" of China and the theft of US technology and intellectual property. After that, China imposed mirror sanctions.

Trump, in turn, threatened to slam new 10% tariffs on Chinese goods worth $ 200 billion. China's Commerce Ministry said the US initiated a "trade war" and promised to respond in kind.
