The head of the Ministry of transport Maxim Sokolov said that by 2018 office under his control and the Federal road Agency will repair most of the Federal roads up to the standard condition. According to him by 2018 it is planned to repair 85 % of all Federal highways, and at the moment only half of roads are corresponding to norms. The official took part in the opening of traffic on the overpass towards Priozersk, Russia, as well as the road underpasses on 78-th kilometer of the road "Sortavala". The highway of Federal importance are established by the government of the Russian Federation and are in the property of Russia, the financing of their maintenance is got from the Federal budget. The Ministry of transport is developing several major projects about improvement of quality of road infrastructure of the Russian Federation. | |
