Bragin is a new coach of Russian U21 hockey team instead of Varnakov

Valeriy Bragin is a new U21 hockey team coach.

Such decision has been made by the Board of Coaches of the Russian Hockey Federation. For those of you who do not remember, this position belonged to Mikhail Varnakov.

Bragin also used to take the position of the U21 hockey team coach. They managed to win gold medals and take the first place in the World Cup 2012 which took place in the United States followed by silver medals and second place on the World Cup in Canada. The main objective for the new coach is to win gold medals on the upcoming world tournament.
