The Head of Nizhny Novgorod region discussed housing policy of the region during his last meeting in Avtozavodskoy district. This information is provided by governmental media office. Valery Shantsev paid attention to the fact that about 1.5 million square meters of housing are annually built in the region. At the same time demand is growing rapidly. That is why building paces should also be increased in accordance with demand. Main attention should be paid to using modern and innovative technologies and construction equipment. Shantsev also examined industrial powers of “ZKPD-70” factory. Its employees have received new technologies for frame and panel construction. That is why they are able to build houses much faster. 97% of building will take place on the territory of the factory. The last thing is to mount block of flats on necessary territory which can be done within one month. The Governor has also discussed old buildings and plans to demolish about 280 thousand square meters of old and ruined buildings. Citizens who live in such houses will be provided with new accommodation. The level of commissioned buildings has become two times higher over the last 8 years. Now it is 1 530 square meters.
